1. Choose the right wheel cleaner
Rule of thumb: Select cleaner by degree of contamination – not gut feeling. For regularly maintained rims, work efficiently with Wheel (concentrate, dilutable). For heavily soiled, baked-on residues, Wheel Spray Forte (acid-free, color indicator) excels.
- Wheel (Concentrate): flexible, economical – ideal for maintained cars and quick interim cleaning.
- Wheel Spray Forte: thick, visible action (violet indicator) – perfect after highway and alpine tours.
2. Support mechanically – but gently
Apply cleaner, let it work and use the right tools: Wheel Brush for spokes, Wheel Woolies or Bristles for the rim bed, then rinse thoroughly. This way dirt is removed from crevices without scratching.
3. Deep clean & prepare
For maximum adhesion and smoothness: Paint Rubber (clay) against stubborn deposits, then Cleaner Fluid for an oil- and film-free surface. Perfect prep for protection.
4. Seal for winter
Choose Autobahn Wheel Wax (with anti-stick PTFE). It reduces adhesion of brake dust, salt and dirt, provides gloss and makes washes between snow showers much easier.
5. Care for tires – finish with function
With PNEU you give depth and protection. Care agents nourish rubber, reduce fading and cracking. Whitewall classic? First PNEU WHITE, then finish with PNEU.

- Always start with wheels. This prevents brake dust spreading onto freshly washed paint.
- Mind temperature: Do not work in direct sun or on hot rims. Cool, dry = better results.
- Use microfiber correctly: Micro-Wash for removal, Micro-Polish for buffing wax, Micro-Dry for drying.
- Don’t forget inner rim: Most brake dust collects here. Long brushes get there fast.
